Barren (5/13/2017)

                       Barren would be 

                                    the rock

                                   as time

                                        took away

                                          the foliage

                                           of memory

                                                      I've held so close

             No other

                                      lifetime

                                                  would endure

                                                this memory

                                                   I've kept silent 

                                       forever

                                  Sharing with genuine

                                    ends

                                                  of times past,

                                            as well as

                                              the stones 

                               to 

                                             with each 

                            My threshold now

                                             is to know

                                     this life 

                                            I've walked

              Memories, 

                                                             keeping me content

                                                                    and enduring to the fact

                                                        everything ends -

                                                And though with progression

                                     I know

                                 love

                                                lives forever.  

                              And as I am bound

                                               by this love

           I indeed,

                                                             intend love forever

                                                                  to by my amendment

                                                to this life -

For

                             I

                                                      will be with you

                                                              as God sees me too

                                                                  in light and darkness -

                  Not as of fear 

                                          but love,

                       And I hope "you"

                                                         "whoever you are"

                                                  will know me

                                                            as you always have

  For I,

                                                       will be the same

                                             "as always"

                                                        as my intentions

                                                                   were not to leave you -

                          But just to join you

                                             in your life 

                                                       as a silent piece 

                                            of music -

                                                            you never tired of -
