Daylight blooming (3/3/87)

Daylight blooming
like night blooming lilies
shadowed
by the coolness
of God's left remembrance
touches
a sunlit world
with a color
of no other than love.
And how many times
have we captured
in glimpse
creation of this flower
so perfect
as such.
Tears
may sometimes stain
our eyes
as our hearts
are always beating
a tender blood
we know
as life;
Reaching toward a sky
we
as all life does
part with feelings
one
to another
Being not
always
a seed left
other than unity.
And as time has said
in so soft spoken a way
some
may not have heard.
Yet as today
we have these flowers
to bloom
and they
are perfection.
For as I have taken them
God
has grown them
and they are yours
my seed
your memory.
