In loving memory

IN LOVING MEMORY OF IDA McFALLS DUNCAN
As the rose breasted Doves
flew
heaven sent
to a running water;
Lying beside them
was the tearstained face
of my own
waiting
to be reasured.
Undoubtedly knowing
sometimes
a lifetime past
watches a heart left
time
had seemingly taken;
No vision
an eyesight could never see;
Only thru
the dim tears
of love
will you yourself
be
the forever
God promised.
And as the Doves
stood
untouched
without fear
the freedom
a long lived heart had searched
I knew
was found.
Cherished memories
will live
as I
will live them;
And as I will live them
with a love so fierce
it will always
be known.
For the belonging
was yours
your gift
to me
as God took you
in his gentle arms
as you left;
Thank you granny.
