So let the rain fall

So let the rain fall and listen to

the silence as it beats against

the Summer's now turning leaves.

The leaves fall demand as a

cover of warmth and protection for the

 sensitive bulbs and flowers that

have also seen the year's length and

will have no beauty until the forthcoming Spring season

But first there will be winter, the

dormant stage when everything 

rests. And waits the warmth of

the Sun.

And as they wait the silence brings

snow; that beautiful cover of

white, be it undisturbed and everything

waits.

Waits for the rays of the Sun to

burst forth and rid it of its

winter cover so once more it can

breathe and reach for the necessities

it needs to survive.
