Whisper a reckonening (5/15/85)

                               Whisper a reckonening;

                            with love;

                               and count;

                                                          a blessed moment come;

             Take a past;

                               a memory;

                                     render a flesh;

               Wait forever;

                              if need be;

           For a life;

                                  is but so long;

                Happiness;

                                       being a beholder.

               And want;

                         whatever;

                            whomever;

                           as you live;

                             as you wish; 

                       And as dreams;

                                  be everlasting;

                    to two; 

                     to one?

                      Will this world;

                                             continue to be ours?

                                            As years cannot stand still;          

                                         nor can one heart.

                 So take me;

                now;

                                             through your senses;

                                   as I remember;

                         what you;

                                     will never forget;

     And I;

                     will live;

                      forever.
